All paintings have a story, like a home they are birthed from. Most leave there and take on more stories, but the first is the one that makes them.

This was the view facing north from my first off-grid ‘Hut’, where I lived for four summers between 1990 and 1994. East was a huge field I would cross on my way to the 30 foot waterfall where I would get clean, and watch the milky way cross the sky at night.
West was sunset and Georgian Bay, through a country block of farmland
