After many years of working large I consciously designed this as a series of small works that could fit on the walls of a home. I also wanted to work in both wet and dry media on paper. When all 18 pieces came back in beautiful walnut frames I realized I needed to print Reconstruction pieces that were closer to the full 40″x30″ size of the original grounds. This print is the result – two thirds the size of the originals.

I love the way this piece looks in context of the original pieces from the left hand corner, which flank it in the show.
