December 2020, after nine months of Covid-19 lockdown / global pandemic I found my dad’s travel watercolours and began to play with the shape of a porcelain creamer.

December, 2020, after a summer studying waves and a fall of writing grant applications and wondering how I’d make it through another year of lockdowns and closures.  Sting’s back catalogue was playing when I started to draw this creamer with all its curves and elipses on a piece of torn paper. Found my dad’s travel watercolours and used whatever was to hand. Someday we’ll laugh in our joy
