These saucers were stacked beside me as I’d worked on all the other pieces. Would you ever have two saucers stacked while sipping espresso? Don’t think so.

A deliberate awkwardness to add to the emptiness, and a satisfying drawing problem at the same time. I wanted a tribute to the delicacy of this china, made 80 years ago.
