Another plane beneath the coffee pot, which I chose not to identify in this piece, to offer the illusion that the pot was about to pour into the cup I painted on the separate piece beneath it in Reconstruction I.

The composition of this piece, with the empty space with just a food sticker to break it and the pot floating at the torn edge is meant to break visual comfort rules. I wanted it to be uncomfortable, as we all have been since March 2020. I wanted it to be playful, too.
